Frequently Asked Questions
We have put together a list of frequently asked questions we get emailed.

Q: Who can use the Disabled sessions?
A: The disabled sessions are for anyone registered as disabled as well as people with a temporary disability as long as they let us know (rehabilitation from accident etc)

A: The Aquamove session is a more gentle form of aquarobics and may be more suitable for you if you are have mobility problems or are new to exercise.

A: When you sign up (either casual or Activo membership) you will need to have an induction session where you are shown the correct use of the equipment, after that session you can use the gym.

A: The learner pool is kept at 32.3c.

A: Parents used to be advised to wait until their baby had had their immunisations at two, three and four months before they took their babies swimming. But government health experts no longer believe this is necessary, so it's really up to you when you start taking your baby to the pool. "There are no medical grounds for waiting until your baby is immunised". You will probably have to wait until you've had your six-week check before you can go yourself, anyway.
A: You can, we offer parties on a Saturday and a Sunday. Please call 01460 77665 and ask for Matt for further details.
